During the Summer Session program, students will spend 14 days in July studying and traveling throughout South Africa. The field-based cultural excursions and service learning experience will include visits to universities, community service agencies as well as historically and ecologically important sites in the country.

A church service in Soweto and engaging with the local communtiy , visits to orphanages and game reserves , will form part of the groups study.The students will also visit Cape Town townships , Robben Island and UCT.

Tribal Meetings have planned a program that the students will experience the rich cultural diversity of the South African people in this region and witness firsthand the challenges that the country faces as an emerging democratic and multi racial society.

This will be a Summer Session Abroad program that they will never forget !
