Kalahari Desert Camp


The Kalahari Desert Camp is located on a 15500 hectare private game reserve. The reserve borders on the 5.5 million hectare Central Kalahari Game Reserve - one of the largest wildlife reserves in the world. Our reserve is home to the following wildlife species: Oryx, Red Hartebeest, Springbuck, Eland, Plains Zebra, Blue Wildebeest, Lion, Cheetah, Brown Hyaena, Leopard, Caracal, Aardwolf and Aardvark; and over 200 species of bird, including thousands of the ubiquitous Red-billed Quelea. The proximity of the farm to the Central Kalahari Game Reserve allows for convenient day and overnight excursions into the reserve.


The Kalahari Desert Camp offers accommodation in six luxury tents with a bed capacity of twelve. The tents are categorised as follows:

• 3 luxury tents with an ensuite bathroom (indoor)

• 2 luxury tents have an ensuite open air bathroom, with ball and claw baths • The Honey-moon suite has a private swimming pool The lounge and dining area are adjacent to the swimming pool and the viewing deck over looks a wellvisited water hole.
